Our Mission

It is the mission of The School of Evansville Ballet to bring world class training with an emphasis on clean technique and superior artistry to the Greater Evansville and Tri-State area.

Evansville Ballet believes in nurturing the development of the artist by instilling a strong foundation and working knowledge of the technique, maintaining an exceptional work ethic, building bridges with the dance community at large through fostering working relationships with guest artists, and by presenting the student artist with high caliber performing opportunities.

“I’m continually awestruck at the high caliber of quality of Evansville Ballet! We’re so appreciative that Abigail can be a part of such professional performances and consistent training. The instruction she receives is simultaneously professional and age appropriate. Our little dancer has benefitted in many ways—boosting her confidence, enhancing her poise, and increasing her knowledge of ballet. Classes are small enough for individualized attention while still upholding top-notch education. One highlight of the year has been the summer Junior Intensive Director’s Cut for the younger dancers. Abigail has enjoyed learning a variety of dance styles from numerous guest artists, all well-known expert ballet dancers. The other highlights are certainly the professional performances, especially the ones in coordination with the highly regarded Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and Evansville Junior Philharmonic Orchestra. As a family, we also have been blessed to bond with the other ballet families and create friendships that otherwise might never have been known. Thanks to Evansville Ballet, all of our lives are much richer!”
